My name is Anna Salek, and I'm a photographer based in St Helens Merseyside.
I love creating timeless photographs and I believe in magic of beauty in simplicity. I hope that you can see in my pictures that less is way more,I try to show that at least :)
I was born in Poland , from 2007 I live and work in the UK. My journey with photography began from taking pictures of my friends and their children, but I truly fallen in love with photography when my daughter was born in 2015 . Since then my life has changed forever. I finally found my destiny.
I'm offering individual/family portraits, actors/performers headshots and modelling portfolio session.

The best way to contact you?
Please use my email, if you send me message on the Facebook or Instagram the message might go to not main inbox and I would not see it.
Do you work on the weekends?
Yes I do but not every weekend, the spaces are limited so if you want to secure a space please book your session in advance.
Do you offer late afternoon appointments?
Yes I do, the latest slot I offer is 6pm.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, to secure your session with me the deposit of £50 need to be paid.
Is there a parking near your studio?
There is a big car parking just next to the studio building.
Can siblings and family members share the session and the package?
Yes of course!
What to wear for the headshot/ portrait session?
Please bring few tops so we can create various different looks and moods. The top should not distract the face. Plain outfits are the best. Remember less is more!
What to wear for portfolio modelling session?
Plain and casual outfits are the best. Denim always look great, jeans, t-shirts, jumper, sporty outfit.
Can I change hair style during the shoot?
Absolutely! Please bring hair accesories so you can change your hair style.
It’s my first session and I’m nervous.
Don't worry, you are not alone. I will do my best so you can feel comfortable on your session.
Can you recreate your previous photos for me?
It's not possible to create two identical photos but I can use it as inspiration and create similar image.
What kind of backdrops are you using?
Only best quality hand painted canvases.
Can I choose the colours of the backdrops for my session?
Yes, of course you can. In my studio I have collection of different colours of the backdrops.
Are you working in London?
my studio is based in St Helens North West however every few weeks/months I'm visiting London for headshot/portfolio sessions. If you would like to book a session with me in London please email me so I can book you in advance.
Do I get not retouched images from the shoot?
For me it's like giving not finished product so my answer is no.
What about make up?
Children should not wear makeup, they should not look older than they are.
Girls from age 14 and above can wear very natural makeup.
I'm wearing glasses, should I bring them for the shoot?
Absolutely yes!
Can I mix acting and modelling session?
Yes you can, please mention that before you book your session.
